Creative exploration is often a personal process that celebrates the erratic, the insubstantial, the copy, and spontaneity for its usually private nature. This project, CENSORED, proposes that such exploration take place in full view, without attempting to be a work or a circular collection—without aesthetic or conceptual roughness—but rather a compendium that archives and materializes the creative whims of its maker.

The materialization of the idea is one of this project’s greatest ends. Tangibility and user manipulation are imperatives, arising in opposition to the tactile absence of the pixel, which dominates how creative culture is consumed, understood, and distributed.

With the natural as material and the artisanal as medium, this project takes form and grows rhizomatically (a word understood through the Deleuzian lens) toward the unbounded and unrestrained curiosity of a man who makes.
